And so the shepherds collect fruit from the fields and trees and put them into beautiful woven baskets to take as gifts to the newborn child.
(My original intention was to fill the baskets with tiny needle-felted apples. I did not get around to do that, however, so I simply used small red wooden beads. You can't see it on the photo anyway - but it looks quite nice,)
